Vision StatementOur vision is to make this region, in name and in fact, the hub of filmmaking within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This will serve to increase the economic advantages available to all of the residents of the region, as well as increasing the region’ cultural climate and opportunities. We see growth of the film industry as a springboard to a rejuvenation and renaissance within the region, and one that can come fairly quickly with proper marketing of the region to the film industry. Mission StatementTo create an environment conducive to attracting film, television, commercial, and video production to the greater Scranton Area, and to create, sustain and expand the development of a viable regionally based production industry. |
